Open Positions on Monterey's Appeals Hearing Board, Board of Library Trustees, Disabled Access Appeals Board, and Neighborhood and Community Improvement Program Committee
Get involved and impact your community! The City of Monterey is accepting applications from Monterey residents for volunteer positions on the following boards, committees, and commissions:
- Appeals Hearing Board – New vacancy for an alternate to the board. Accepting applications until end of day, May 31, 2022.
- Board of Library Trustees – Two seats to fill expiring terms. Accepting applications until end of day, May 31, 2022.
- Disabled Access Appeals Board– Ongoing vacancies. Accepting applications on a rolling basis until seats are filled.
- Neighborhood and Community Improvement Program (NCIP) Committee – Accepting applications on a rolling basis, until seats are filled, from residents interested to serve as alternates for the following neighborhoods: Aguajito Oaks, Alta Mesa, Deer Flats, and Skyline
Residents of the City of Monterey are encouraged to apply for these volunteer positions. Mayor Clyde Roberson will review each application and conduct interviews of the candidates prior to presenting his recommendations to the City Council for appointment.
